Phone-y

I was planning on having a really relaxing week with Buddy this week. But instead, we ended up going out and doing things like every day! We had friends over, rode horses, went swimming, went to concerts, participated in artwork...

But of course, I have no pictures. So please accept my apology for that, and as a peace offering I give you: crappy pictures I took on my phone in the last few months!

How I found Buddy sleeping a few nights ago.

More riding Dolly, that's my friend Amber who is helping him :)

Buddy loves his uncle.

And his grandpa.

Wedding

You guys, I have the most embarrassingly lame problem to admit:

My new camera is too fancy.
I like it, I covet it, and as such, I don't want to throw it in my purse to capture 'potential' moments! I don't want to throw the strap around my wrist and drag it with me onto the playground. I worry about carrying it around, because it's too nice to get dropped, scratched, or bumped.

Anyway, this is a long way of saying that I went to a wedding in Ohio last weekend, and all I got was just a few pictures.

Trying out the lighting on my poor daddy  :)

The first dance between bride and groom!

My grandparents, the longest married couple on the dance floor! 60 1/2 years!!! And still madly in love, I aspire to be in a relationship like theirs!

Buddy dancing with the bride for the "dollar dance"

Cheesy smile.

Buddy's older cousin proving that "slow dances can be fun too!"

My dad (the one with the cheesehead) may have had a few beers by this point :)

Anyway, the wedding was fun, especially the dancing, and although the 11 hour drive to (and from) Ohio sucked, I think I had a good time!

...I only say "I think" because we left Wausau during a thunderstorm/tornado (storms are one of my anxiety triggers) and then had to sit in a car (driving is another trigger) while following the storm for quite a while, and then I got sick on the drive down... which made me feel miserable and cough-y and exhausted and tense for way too long once we finally got to our destination! And the ride home, though not quite as bad, was still painful.

...but I should say, Buddy was a champ for the horrifically long drive! He was pretty much polite, kept himself entertained, and slept well when it was time :) last year's drive was WAAAAAY worse!

This is my life...

So I was uploading my pictures from my phone today, and I realized that I have a bunch of videos that I never post. Mostly because they're short and ridiculous. But, since I'm out of things to write about... enjoy!

Taken today. I'm really irritated with the weather.

He's singing "they got a touchdown" and at the end he shouts "Lambeau!"

From this fall, Buddy's cousin can do cool tricks on the playground!

Phoning it in... Again.

Buddy and I did a bunch of fun things today. We went to a birthday party, then hung out with a cousin, and just had a really great day. I still can't get over the weather, it's amazing! Anyway, I forgot my camera, and forgot till almost the end of the birthday party that I have a phone that takes pictures... But part of our day was documented! Enjoy!
Buddy and his friends from school WAY too hyped up on sugar!

Franklin Elementary has a wicked cool playground!

With bench swings to rest on :)

Phone Photos

Because I've been so busy and haven't been at home, what with the computer issues and now the car that almost blew up... Oh, I didn't mention that? Yeah. My car almost blew up. Needless to say I'm not driving it anymore. And now am car-less for the moment. Awesome.
Anyway, I know I've been full of excuses for missed posts recently, but I really do plan to update at least twice a week and it just never happens.
So, since I'm too tired and crabby from cramming 10 extra hours of work, plus tons of extra schoolwork into this week, I'm just gonna phone it in. Literally.
Here are pictures from my cell phone! Enjoy.

I had dreadlocks in this picture! You can't really tell, but they were awesome. I miss them, even though they were stinky, itchy, and impractical.

Buddy and Uncle Davey!

Buddy's knight costume. Courtesy of Grandpa. Pretty sweet.

His costume for his first play ever! It was the play The Curious Savage, which is great. He played John Thomas, a doll which a delusional but sweet woman thinks is her son. (There was also a doll who played John Thomas, but I think my kiddo did much better!)

This has nothing to do with anything. My mother made this delicious reuben sandwich, that was almost too beautiful to eat!

Buddy's 4th birthday. Obvs.

He loves his uncle!

Rocking out!

The end for today. No worries, I saved some more for later in case of further writers/life blocks!
